Leon the Pig Farmer

Jewish Estate Agent Leon Geller (Mark Frankel) measures the lawn at a large house, finding it to be almost one foot shorter than he thought.

Fired from the Estate Agency, Leon drives his Geller's Catering van into the car park of the Presm Medical Centre with a take away lunch for Dr. Stern. The car park to the rear of Marco Polo House on Queenstown Road in SW11. Completed in 1989, the building was home to British Satellite Broadcasting (BSB) television and The Observer.

Having discovered that he and his brothers are the result of artificial insemination, Leon returns to the Medical Centre to confront Dr. Johnson (Annette Crosbie). Looking out from Marco Polo House onto the gasometers of Battersea Gas Holder Station. Marco Polo House was demolished in 2014 and the site has since been redeveloped as Vista Chelsea Bridge and Valetta House.

Leaving a sample to check on his own fertility, Leon speeds away from a set of traffic lights on the drive home.

With his mind elsewhere, Leon brakes to a sudden halt at a pedestrian crossing, almost hitting Madeleine (Maryam D'Abo). Belsize Park in NW3 with properties on Buckland Gardens ahead.

Involved in an intense affair with Madeleine, Leon leaves Lisa's flat after spending the night with her.

Walking onto the street, Leon bumps into an Elderly Couple (Lois Penson and Edward Dentith) who, in one of several surreal moments during the film, ask how he feels . . . . "Guilty as Hell".

Dr. Johnson tells Leon that his sperm count is fine . . . . . but, due to a crazy mistake, his father is a Yorkshireman from Lower Dinthorpe. With the affair over when he tells Madeleine that he was an Estate Agent and that he's not entirely Jewish, Leon sets out for Yorkshire.

Dreary weather accompanies Leon on his journey. Looking south on Archway Road towards the junction of Highgate Hill and St. John's Way in N19. Closer views of Flowers Mews, standing in the right of centre distance, can be seen in 'Absolutely Anything'.

Leon turns towards the M1 at Staples Corner. This is facing east on the North Circular Road in London NW2 with Adrian Avenue to the left and the railway viaduct carrying the line between Hendon and Cricklewood crossing the scene.

After a long drive, Leon reaches his destination . . . . almost. The junction of Old Road and Church Avenue in Clapham, North Yorkshire.

As the light fails, a Shepherd (Ralph Lawton) is asked for directions to Lower Dinthorpe.

The morning after finding Chadwick Pig Farm, his surrogate father Brian and a large extended family, Leon is woken early.

Brian Chadwick (Brian Glover) shows Leon around the reeking farm where they find Peter (Barry Stanton), the vet of the family.

In an attempt to make Leon feel accepted, Brian reads up on Jewish customs.

Leon leaves the barn where he's attempting to get used to the pigs.

After a test tube mix up creates a part pig part sheep hybrid, Leon waits at the station for Rabbi Hertzman and Rabbi Jobson to arrive. Facing north-west from Clapham railway station in Clapham, North Yorkshire.

Returning to the station after seeing the hybrid animal, Rabbi Jobson (Peter Whitman) and Rabbi Hertzman (Bernard Bresslaw) walk towards the footbridge to catch the train back to London. The waiting room on the eastbound platform at Clapham station in the Yorkshire Dales.

Followed by Leon, Rabbi Hertzman argues that he should consult the Chief Rabbi while the more progressive Rabbi Jobson states that the animals meat would be 100% kosher. Facing the former Flying Horse Shoe Hotel from the footbridge at Clapham station. The Grade II listed hotel closed in 2003 and was converted for residential use as Farrer Lodge in 2008.

Taking the weird pig after a disagreement with Brian, Leon stops at a service station on the drive back to London where a Delivery Driver asks what he's going to do with it. The northbound Lancaster Services on the M6 in Lancashire.

Peering into Leon's car, another Motorist ventures that breeding has a symbolic touch. The fuelling area at the northbound Lancaster Services on the M6.

Getting out of a taxi, Brian and his wife Yvonne Chadwick (Connie Booth) arrive at Leon's Parent's house.

When Leon leaves the house after both Brian and his father pressure him to join their businesses, the Chadwicks follow Sidney Geller (David de Keyser) and his wife Judith (Janet Suzman) to their car.

Driven by Judith, the Geller's Jaguar XJ6 heads out of London.

The camera pans with the car as it passes.

As Leon reaches the countryside and sets the animal free, Judith turns off the motorway.

Seeing Lisa looking into the restaurant where he's dining with his parents and the Chadwicks, Leon leaves to follow her.

Lisa (Gina Bellman) finds Leon. David Newman identifies this as the entrance to Edgware Underground station on Station Road in Edgware, Greater London.
