A late evening panorama of London is accompanied by the sound of a relaxing voice. Looking east across London with St. Paul's Cathedral to the bottom left, Canary Wharf in the distance and Tower Bridge bottom right.

Unhappy with his life as an assassin, Milo lies listening to the Hypnotist while his trigger finger twitches.

The sequence ends as Milo turns off the voice, gets up from his bed, walks to the bathroom cabinet and takes a couple of tablets. The view is of the south side of Denmark Street WC2. (SR)

Failing to kill his latest target, Milo (Damian Lewis) faces Bjorn (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) after the rival hitman completes the job.

In Milo’s apartment, shots begin to pierce the windows.

Given the job to terminate Milo, Bjorn looks up from his rifle between shots.

Fearing for his life, Milo phones his friend and fellow hitman Leo at the Autumn Sun Retirement Village. Steve Randall identifies this as the Vale Resort, a 4 star golf, spa and leisure hotel on Hensol Road in Hensol, Pontyclun.

Directing his friend to a refuge, Leo (Michael Gambon) hangs up before reluctantly allowing Stanley (Robert Page) to hold his hand. Steve Randall locates this as the Vale Resort at Hensol, Pontyclun in the County Borough of Rhondda Cynon Taf.

Following instructions contained in a biscuit tin, Milo drives to Leo’s place in the country. The M48 Severn Bridge crossing the River Severn from Aust in Gloucestershire to Chepstow, Monmouthshire confirmed by Chris Barton.

Having taken the name Shakespeare from a bust on the bar when asked his surname by Bryn, Milo drives from the village and calls Leo to tell him that the locals think he’s a real baker.

Finding a photograph that includes a reflection of Rhys’s chip shop, Bjorn begins to visit each chip shop with the name “Cod Almighty” as he searches for Milo. The Fan Fun with Damian Lewis website mentions that the fish & chip shop scenes were filmed in Cardiff.

An explosion rocks the village before magazine pages and items of clothing belonging to Martha Edwards begin to fall from the sky.

Learning that the Villagers have been told by Eggs that he’s an assassin, Milo heads to the castle when discovers that Bjorn is looking for him. The track leading from the main street near the Post Office to Grosmont Castle.
