If you have any information regarding this production, the locations or, even better, some comparison shots please contact us. Images submitted must be in Landscape orientation, as would be seen on the cinema screen, not Portrait.

We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. Please do not forward additional screen captures to us but bring the detail to our attention, for we do, and are, 're-addressing' these older entries as time allows.

After her unappreciative husband leaves for work, Karen Williams (Luan Peters) sees her son Gary safely to school. The corner of St. Peter's Road and St. Peter's Grove in London W6 with St. Peter’s School as the background. The school and the streets around can also be seen in 'Percy'.

At least the bollards are less imposing. SJ

Karen heads into town. Reflected in the bank's window is the name Lawrences, a furniture store that occupied 33 to 53 Westbourne Grove W2 which means the bank is number 32 at the corner of Newton Road.

The same corner. (PW)

This is Westbourne Grove at the junction with Newton Road in Bayswater.

Just one out of three premises currently occupied. (PW)

The young housewife glances through a shop window. Looking out onto Westbourne Grove with the corner of Kensington Gardens Square in the right of centre background.

With thanks to Forever Health at 36 Westbourne Grove for allowing access to take this view. (PW)

A little way along the street, Karen browses a display of budget LPs. Lawrences furniture store stands to the left of this record shop which is number 55 Westbourne Grove W2.

There's been a major change to the shop fronts here. (PW)

Shop assistant Eddie (Sean Barry-Weske) says 'Good morning" to Karen as she enters the grocery store. The poster on the door indicates that this is a Londis store. 18 Stratford Road, London W8 would provide this view looking across to Blithfield Street. (RL)

Taken from outside no18. SJ

The morning after Eddie had been watching Karen in her bathroom through binoculars, she enters the grocers to be greeted by Mr. Finlay (James Hayter). The 'decimalisation' banner attached to the window almost obscures the sign for La Bretagne restaurant across the road and the premises in the left background are occupied by Alliance. "La Bretagne' were at 7 Stratford Road, London W8 which suggests that this could be No 18, now 'Hennys' Hair Salon. (RL)

After a spell of Chez Patrick, San Pietro is now at no7. SJ

Looking into the shop window she spotted previously, Karen enters to buy a pair of red briefs for her husband. Looking onto Westbourne Grove from number 36.

With acknowledgements to Forever Health, this is the view now. (PW)

Leaving the grocery store on another occasion, Karen makes her way home after her friend Joan suggests she takes a lover. Looking along Stratford Road, London W8 and the junction with Radley Mews off to the left. (RL)

Radley Mews is unblocked by any delivery. SJ

Following an afternoon drinking with sales rep Alex, Karen is driven to his flat. Kensington Gardens Square W2 with Westbourne Grove crossing the background.

The background buildings are better kept now. (PW)

Parking up, Alex (Vincent Ball) gets out of the car to open the door for Karen. Facing 48 Kensington Gardens Square in Bayswater, other parts of which appear in 'Bitter Harvest'.

Enough of the comparative detail can be seen behind the vehicles. (PW)

After finding an envelope containing a compromising photo of her and Alex, Karen opens her front door to see him across the road.

From his parked Triumph 2000, Alex watches Karen leave the house with her son. Ray Glenister finds Karen to be living at 60 Abingdon Road, London W8. (RL)

Looking very smart now. SJ

Pulling away from the kerb, Alex follows Karen as she takes Gary to school. Following on from the above capture Ray sees Karen walking past 66 and 68 Abingdon Road with No 70 on the corner. (RL)

And the corner is shared with Scarsdale Villas, W8. SJ

Picking Karen up outside the school, Alex drives to a secluded spot where he persuades her to go to a party with him.

Captain Harrison (Bill Shine) and John Williams (Jason Twelvetrees) walk from court. Having established the next location Dave adds that this is the rear of the Kensington Central Library building looking towards Hornton Street. (RL)

For some reason I missed this when doing the next one, which is only a pan away, so I returned but it took over a year. SJ

The Captain suggests that he and his solicitor go to a club where he'll buy a drink. Dave W relieved the frustrations of himself and a few others of us when he found Campden Hill Road, London W8 looking towards Kensington High Street. (RL)

With original trees and railings to the underground car park on the left. SJ

It's not long before the two men reach Soho. The corner of D'Arblay Street and Berwick Street in W1.

At this corner, the sleazy side of Soho now a distant memory. (PW)

Turning a corner, the Captain takes John into a seedy club. The Queens Club, later known as Queens Striptease Review, at 37 Berwick Street in Soho.

The best view considering the roadworks that have been in place for many, many months. (PW)

While Karen is at the West Side Health Club, John meets Gary from school and the two walk home. Looking along St. Peter's Road towards The Cross Keys public house on Black Lion Lane, Hammersmith W6.

Taken much later in the day as the sun's shadows reveal. SJ
