At the studio, a Policeman (Lawrence Ireland) calls to a Man running out of an alley.

When the Policeman discovers a Woman's body in the alley, Inspector Gill (Alan Browning) and a Sergeant leave the police station and head to the scene of the crime. Geoff Dodd identifies this for us as the former Watford Magistrates Court on Clarendon Road, Watford, Herts, that closed in 2016 (RL)

After newspapers carry headlines reporting the murder of probation officer Angela Richmond, the Inspector and Detective Sergeant Lewis visit Mrs. Clarke at Hotel Angelo as they start their investigation. Learning that Mrs. Richmond was Jimmy Fuller's probation officer, Inspector Gill returns to Scotland Yard. Victoria Embankment SW1 with Derby Gate to the centre.

Fuller admits to the murder and appears before a Magistrate to be committed for trial. Geoff Dodd identifies the building as Hendon Court House on The Hyde, London NW9.

Paul Lincoln has been patiently waiting to capture this shot for us and we have now been duly rewarded. The trees have certainly grown in the last 60+ years and that domed porch has had to go in the face of progress. (RL)

Assigned to defend Fuller, the newly barred Solicitor visits the prisoner. Wormwood Scrubs on Du Cane Road in W12, a location that appears in many productions including 'Doctor in Clover', 'Fate Takes a Hand', '13 East Street' and 'Seven Keys'.

The lawyer continues to follow Ginny after she catches a bus. Another of Ray's finds, the Triumph, in East Smithfield, rounds the rebuilt curved wall of The Royal Mint near The Tower of London. (RL)

Keeping a safe distance behind, David brings his car to a stand as the bus pulls up in front.

Ginny alights from the bus. Ray Glenister has pinpointed the location as to the bus facing south towards the St Katharine Way ramp. Above its roof, the top of Tower Bridge can be seen and the walls and other buildings of the Tower of London on the right. (RL)

Paul returned to Wapping to capture this outstanding shot, fortunately the purpose of those yellow lines kept his view clear. (RL)

David follows the young woman as she heads into the docks. Here, Ray says, the Triumph Herald is turning into Garnet Street from the Highway, Wapping, London E1. The ship being mored in Shadwell Basin. (RL)

Paul at least managed to capture a momentary gap in the traffic on the other side of the road so that we could see how different the junction is now. (RL)

Ginny crosses the road. While Ray is in Wapping he found another, here, The Highway looking west with 'The Old Rose' Pub, 128, on the corner of Chigwell Hill. The shop opposite with the white awning is 173. (RL)

David parks his Triumph as Ginny enters the Beach Seamen's Home. So, following on from the above capture Ray places the Triumph opposite No 189 The Highway, Wapping, London E1 as we look westwards. (RL)

How Paul managed to find this gap in the traffic totally confounds me. St. George-in-the-East can be seen in the top right hand corner. (RL)

While he's inside questioning Diana, David's fiancée Faye Kent (Wendy Williams) arrives at the hotel. Lancaster Gate in W2.
