The view from 61A Charrington Gardens in London's Maida Vale. Just one of several back projections that feature in this production that's otherwise confined to the stages of Warner Brothers Burbank Studios at 4000 Warner Boulevard in Burbank, California. Identified by Mark Brady this is Collingham Road in SW5 with Cromwell Road in the distance.

Steve Dowthwaite returned to the scene some 68 years later.

Crime author Mark Halliday (Robert Cummings) smokes outside the Maida Vale home of retired tennis champion Tony Wendice. IMDb tells us that this is Stage 20 at Warner Brothers Burbank Studios in Burbank. Desmond Murphy explains that the back projection is a south westerly view along Courtfield Gardens SW5 from its intersection with Collingham Road adding "In the far distance there is a building built from London yellow stock bricks. It has a pyramidal roof and six sash windows. As of 2025 this the M&S Foodhall on Earls Court Road. In the middle distance on the right hand side is a partial view of 23 Courtfield Gardens with its four sash windows one above the other."

This is the junction looking south-west. A close inspection behind the tree shows the same corner brickwork. However on Streetview, rather tiresomely, this is blurred out. I post this with considerable reservation as I think the curve is wrong and that the view may be a block further west on the corner of Courtfield Gardens and looking south-west down Barkston Gardens.
