First broadcast by BBC 2 as a Christmas ghost story on 25 December 1972.
Dave Buckley knew the VT editor, Geoff Higgs, very well as he regularly came to his TV department in the 1970’s to lecture on VT editing. He had an opportunity to speak to Geoff about the opening sequence where Jane Asher drives into the courtyard and Dave’s full knowledge and information concerning this, as shown in our captures, can be read here.

Jill enters the yard in front of the house where equipment and supplies are being unloaded. Horsley Towers can also be seen in 'Kaleidoscope' as well as 2008's television series 'The Colour of Magic'.
