Mourners leave after the funeral of Jenny Radford. The Parish Church of St. John the Baptist on Church Lane, Little Marlow in Buckinghamshire discovered by Greg Mishevski. The same church is seen in 'Murder at the Gallop'.

An Inspector (Donald Morley) sits in a police Jaguar on the road outside the church. Greg Mishevski advises that the house on the right is called The Manor Farmhouse and it stands on Church Road in Little Marlow.

The family are driven home. Marlow High Street suggests Richard and Graham Anderson concurs. High Street, Marlow in Buckinghamshire looking south east near the junction with Institute Road. Peter Adams also agrees 100% that this is Marlow High Street, the petrol pumps used to have an arm that swung out into the road to fill cars and he remembers his granddad getting fuel here in the 70s. Lee tells his Dad that Harry was there after Jim mentions that he didn't see him. Phil Richards found that the house/nursery did exist in Pump Lane, Marlow, Buckinghamshire. (RL)

Having found the location Phil that the nursery has long gone and the house now a private residence called "The Old Nursery". With thanks to the owner who was so helpful to Phil. Whilst the road looks much the same Phil found that the house and the outbuildings also look much the same although all the windows of the outbuildings have been bricked in. (RL)

As stated in the previous capture the nursery is long gone, the present owner told Phil that the road became a 'cul de sac' at some point so the nursery lost all passing trade. The business was sold to a local research company who installed some significant transmission capabilities by the outbuildings. Even this has now gone and the current owners of the house now own the outbuildings! (RL)

Indicators flash left as the Daimler Limousine turns into the car park of the Crown, the public house that Jim and Carol Radford run. Church Road, Little Marlow in Buckinghamshire advises Greg Mishevski who adds that "The Crown" is in reality the Kings Head.

The car arrives at the back of the pub where the family get out to enter the premises. The rear of the Kings Head on Church Road in Little Marlow.

Phil Richards noticed a few changes here, one cannot now use this route into the car park, for some reason the windows have all been painted out and that light on the corner of the pub is no longer there, disappearing he says between 2016 and 2021. (RL)

After news spreads that Seely has been released by the police, Jim, Lee and Harry drive to the home of the man suspected of raping and murdering Jenny. Gordon Road in H Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.

The three men carry on following the suspected murderer. The Gordon Arms at the junction of Gordon Road, Totteridge Avenue and Bowerdean Road in High Wycombe.

As he starts to cough, Seely pauses on the far side of the road. Antony Blair identifies this as looking south-east across Packhorse Road towards East Common in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire.

Turning the corner, Seely walks towards the school that Jenny and Harry's daughter Carol attended. This is East Common in Gerrards Cross recognised by Antony Blair who adds that we're at the side of Pilgrims' Home Almshouses which were built in 1874 and are now known as Hartley Court.

Near the school playground, Seely stops and pretends to clean his glasses. Facing the long demolished school on the north side of East Common identified by Antony Blair.

Accompanied on his trip, Antony captured the same scene 51 years later.

Jim stops the car as Seely walks on when the school bell rings. Antony Blair advises that the former school on East Common in Gerrards Cross is now a retirement home named Colston Court which was built in 1974.

When a narrow alley prevents the three from following further, Jim looks across at Harry as he mutters that he wants to see that man dead. Easton Terrace in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire identified on the British Film Locations website.

Having made a plan to capture Seely, the next day Lee approaches the shops that he walks to. The corner of Burnham Close and The Parade in Bourne End, Buckinghamshire.

Seely shuffles his way homeward. A now changed part of The Parade in Bourne End, adjacent to the shop in the next capture.

Lee keeps an eye on Seely as he enters a newsagents to buy sweets. Fallons was a newsagents at 31 The Parade, Bourne End advises Peter Adams.

Followed by Lee on his scooter, Seely returns along the alley near to where Jim and Harry are waiting. Looking south along the alley running between Easton Street and Saffron Road.

Things begin to go wrong when Harry has to fight for a blanket from the car with a stray dog that appears. In the left background is the alley leading up from Easton Street.

When the Cortina's engine eventually fires up, Jim and Harry follow Lee as he chases Seely. The corner of Saffron Road and Station Road in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.

The two watch as Lee follows Seely though a gate and into a foot tunnel. Station Road with the gate leading to the subway that runs beneath the railway to the south east of High Wycombe station.

On his Lambretta, Lee chases the frightened Seely through the tunnel. The subway runs between Station Road and the corner of Gordon Road and Duke Street.

I assume that the crew didn't drag the camera and equipment to the other end of the tunnel . . . so neither did I. (PW)

With their prisoner, the three head back to the pub where they throw him into the cellar before beating him unconscious. The corner of Gordon Road and Duke Street.

The next morning, a brewery dray turns into the car park at The Crown. Looking from the Kings Head towards Marlow Road.

Phil notes that same asphalt shape remains in the north car park.

Fred the Drayman (Geoffrey Hughes) and his Mate (Ronald Clarke) open the cellar drop at the side of the pub. The side of the Kings Head on Church Road, Little Marlow in Buckinghamshire.

The main change here Phil points out is that the wooden cellar trap door has been replaced with a more sturdy metal one. (RL)

After returning to Seely's house with a plan to blow him up in a gas explosion, Harry and Lee look through a bedroom window to see a Police patrol stop to speak with an Officer on surveillance. This has the appearance of a studio set at Pinewood.

When newspapers report that a tall, fair 30 year old is helping with enquiries into the murder of Jenny, Jim begins to look after Seely and drives off to buy chocolates for the accused man. Gordon Road at the junction of Totteridge Avenue and Bowerdean Road with the viaduct carrying the Chiltern Main Line to the top and the since removed bridge taking the railway towards Bourne End and Maidenhead in the background.

As Jim enters a shop to buy chocolates, Seely starts to speak with Lucy, one of Jill's Schoolfriends who has called at the pub. The shop stands at 179 Gordon Road, High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire.
