Following a successful tour entertaining British troops in the Far East, a car brings Judy James and her agent Tommy Tupp to her flat at Marlborough Court..

A little later, Millionaire Aloysius Dimwitty (Freddie Frinton) pays the Taxi Driver (Edgar Driver) when he arrives at the apartment block to meet with Judy and her agent.

Before setting off for London to find Judy, the girl he's infatuated with, Flight Lieutenant John Robinson (Michael Bentine) struggles to keep his helicopter on the ground after getting out to retrieve his hat. The Bell 47B helicopter was operated by the BEA Experimental Helicopter Unit.
