At a greyhound track, hire driver Ernie Peel watches another of his tips come in last before George Brett approaches him in the bar and offers him the opportunity to earn £100. White City Stadium located off Wood Lane in Shepherd's Bush W12. The site is now occupied by the BBC Broadcast Centre. The sequence was seen previously in 1947's 'The Turners of Prospect Road' and other views of the stadium can be seen in 'Jumping for Joy', 'Mrs. Brown You've Got a Lovely Daughter', 'Crooks in Cloisters ', 'Foreign Exchange', 'The Blue Lamp' and 'Otley'.

In the car park behind the court, Ernie Peel (Arthur Lovegrove) checks over his bus in preparation for the journey to the story's Colesbury Prison.

Mawsley (Robert Brown) makes his way from the court to join fellow officer Danny Watts and take charge of their prisoners Martin Lord, Doug Roberts, Sydney Selwyn, Ronald Grey-Simmons, Bart Rennison and Victor Lush.
