If you have any information regarding this production, the locations or, even better, some comparison shots please contact us. Images submitted must be in Landscape orientation, as would be seen on the cinema screen, not Portrait.

We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. Please do not forward additional screen captures to us but bring the detail to our attention, for we do, and are, 're-addressing' these older entries as time allows.

Some time after a curious figurine created by Mark Langtree is taken during a burglary at his studio, Mr. Leventa (Reed De Rouen) leaves the nightclub where copies are being used to traffic drugs.

26 Queen's Grove, St John's Wood, NW8 Circa 1958

Leventa follows Linda Burrows (Therese Burton) as she makes her way to Langtree's studio. Following on from establishing the location of Capture 3, Dave W was instinctively led to Queen's Grove, St John's Wood, NW8 and, of course, No 26 in particular looking north east towards Avenue Road. Unfortunately, redevelopment, and currently at least, no historic archive pictures or material are to hand to substantiate but all the evidence available suggests that it is the correct decision. During a fight when Leventa turns up at the studio, Detective Wainwright (Gordon Bell) and two Officers see one of the drug filled models fall to the pavement after Linda throws it through the window. Searching for clues, Alan Bourke draws our attention to a "Tolly" brewery dray being unloaded in the background which may indicate the site of a public house or hotel. The Tollemache Brewery merged with the Cobbold Brewery in 1958 to form Tolly Cobbold which was based in Ipswich although Tolly had a brewery in Walthamstow which closed in 1971. With the benefit of information revealed by close by frames Dave W has found that the officers are by the wall of the St. John's Wood Barracks where they adjoin to 51 Ordnance Hill, London NW8 looking towards St. John's Wood Park. The houses seen in the backgound can also be seen in 'Mail Van Murder' Capture 6.
