Jimmy Snow worked on special effects at both Pinewood and Denham Studios but his name often remained uncredited, as with this film. An interesting Biography and her Memories of him has been written for us by his granddaughter Brigitte, all of which can be read here.

Mr. Frith (James Hayter) returns home with the proceeds from a day's thieving. This is Boston Gardens in Brentford, Middlesex, looking towards one of the road's cul de sacs and the Piccadilly Line's Boston Manor station in the distance.

To prove to his family of crooks that he's quite capable of bringing in the big money, Willie Frith steals a suitcase from a Clergyman who arrives at Victoria station. The London terminus is seen here across Terminus Place in SW1.

Disgraced after his Father discovers that the case full of forged banknotes, Willie Frith (Ian Carmichael) is ordered out of the family home. Aided by SJ's initial research, Antony Blair found number 73 Boston Gardens . . .

On a train back to London, Bookmakers from the course discover the forged notes passed to them by Willie. Jonathan Horswell identifies the approach to Virginia Water station in Surrey adding that "The signal box to the centre is Virginia Water B to the west of the station with the goods yard headshunt in the foreground."
