Johnny Taylor drives the Ford bus that he lives and works in towards the motorway and London.

Passing a row of hitch hikers, Johnny stops to pick up a Psychic Commando (Pauline Black) which causes a Crap Puppeteer (George Morton), a Hard Man (Chris Walker) and Velma Fudd to run towards his vehicle and pile in.

With his Family, Max Taylor (Benny Young) arrives at the ancestral home of Callum Chance (Christopher Lee) that he won in a card game. Almost simultaneously, Steve Randall, Alan Bourke and Geoff Dodd identified Wyfold Court, a Grade-II listed Gothic mansion at Rotherfield Peppard in Oxfordshire that was built between 1872 and 1873.

One by one, the record producers Family are killed by the Funny Man inhabiting the house before Johnny and his passengers arrive. Alan Bourke and Steve Randall found Wyfold Court at Rotherfield Peppard, Oxfordshire. It was sold to the state in 1932 to eventually become Borocourt Hospital and had just closed at the time of filming. It is now private apartments.

On a beach, the Funny Man (Tim James) sits reading a newspaper while the Hard Man is killed by a bomb in a Punch & Judy booth. Shoebury Common Beach, just along the coast from Southend-on-Sea in Essex identified by Alan Bourke who points out that Uncle Tom's Cabin appears in the background.
