If you have any information regarding this production, the locations or, even better, some comparison shots please contact us. Images submitted must be in Landscape orientation, as would be seen on the cinema screen, not Portrait.

We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. Please do not forward additional screen captures to us but bring the detail to our attention, for we do, and are, 're-addressing' these older entries as time allows.

The film opens in London. Looking along the Thames towards Lambeth Bridge with the Houses of Parliament to the left.

Taken from the base of Alembic House/Peninsula Heights but maybe the camera was further back. SJ

Dr. Patterson (Norman Claridge) makes his way to the Explorers' Club.

I suggest looking west on Piccadilly. SJ

Inside the club, Dr. Moran tells his fellow members that he's mounting an expedition to seek out a tribe in the depths of the Amazon jungle which has a miracle-working JuJu that can bring the dead back to life.

This is 139 Piccadilly now. It appears to show extended brickwork narrowing the entrance approach. SJ

Continuing his enquiries into the suspected murder of Susan Curtis, Inspector Brownlow (Maxwell Foster) of the county police calls on Dr. Moran.

After his latest experiment fails, Dr. Moran heads to the West End. Piccadilly Circus W1, seen from Regent Street.

A slightly different angle of Piccadilly Circus than we're used to. SJ

Cut to a shot facing properties on Piccadilly with the Criterion Restaurant beyond the Shaftesbury Memorial Fountain, popularly known as Eros.

New building to the left. This is an angle which aligns "Eros" with the Criterion after rather than before it was moved. SJ

Dr. James Moran (George Coulouris) looks around. The shot is a reversed view of Regent Street, looking north towards Piccadilly Circus.

I've tried a reverse shot here too but with the memorial moved out of sight to the left, it's quite tricky to match. SJ

Crossing to the southern part of Regent Street, the Doctor begins to walk south.

Again the statue is now out of sight on the right. SJ

On Shaftesbury Avenue, a Prostitute (Marie Devereux) approaches Dr. Moran. To the top, left of centre can be seen the bottom of the sign for Café Monico at number 19.

Oh! A little more destruction appears to be taking place. (PW)

Outside the Lyric Theatre, another Call Girl propositions the Doctor. Facing south-west on Shaftesbury Avenue W1.

Still the Lyric Theatre. (PW)

Dr. Moran stops outside the Globe Theatre when he spots Judy (Joy Webster). The corner of Rupert Street and Shaftesbury Avenue.

Now the Gielgud Theatre. (PW)

The lone woman makes her way along Rupert Street followed by the Doctor. In the right background, beyond Shaftesbury Avenue, can be seen the neon lights of the Prince of Wales' theatre.

The side of the Gielgud Theatre where, to the right, can be seen some of the clutter of 21st century Soho.

Judy continues her walk through Soho. Outside the Cinerama Cinema on Old Compton Street W1 with the corner of Greek Street to the right.

Since 1978, the Prince Edward Theatre. (PW)

Keeping his eye on his target, Dr. Moran remains at a safe distance. Looking west on Old Compton Street in Soho with the Cinerama Cinema on the right.

The location now. (PW)

Judy turns a corner. The corner of Old Compton and Frith Street with the Cinerama Cinema to the right.

The same corner. (PW)
