Leaving their studio in Paris, three English artists set out on a sketching tour of France. Steve Randall identifies church Saint Laurent, the White Penitents Chapel, at Magagnosc in Alpes-Maritimes on the Côte d'Azur. The building also features in 'Affair in Monte Carlo'.

Crippled when run down by a coach after a curse is placed on him by Svengali, Billy returns to London. To the left rises the Clock Tower of the Houses of Parliament as seen from the corner of Westminster Bridge and Victoria Embankment while the statue of Queen Boudica stands to the right.
