Newbury Racecourse station on Hambridge Road in Newbury, Berkshire . . . and yes, continuity has gone a little astray as the High Speed Train has become a train of Mark I carriages hauled by a Class 31 locomotive.

Continuing forward by HST once again, the Professor and Miss Fullerton strike up a conversation about his research at MIT in Boston before she explains that she's on her way to Scotland Yard to report several murders in her village.

Picking Luke up on a lane whilst he's out walking after being invited to stay at the Manor, Bridget explains the circumstances of Harry Carter and Tommy Pearce's accidental deaths whilst driving him home.
