Payment in Kind (The Scales of Justice)

The story begins on a modern housing estate. Margin Drive in SW19 located by Oliver Musgrave.

Edgar Lustgarten explains that Mrs. Morgan was unable to cope with the pressures of every day life, the keeping up with the Jones's and the petty snobberies. Oliver Musgrave identifies Margin Drive in Wimbledon, where many of the original 1950s houses have been replaced in recent years.

Sitting in his car, debt collector Robert Andrews (Derrick Sherwin) turns as Mrs. Morgan approaches her house. Through the car windows can be seen properties on Margin Drive advises Oliver Musgrave.

Peter Bywaters explains that in the background are the new numbers 11 and 9.

Carrying shopping that she can ill afford, Paula reaches for her keys. The property stands on Margin Drive.

Without trespass, Peter Bywaters took this off angle shot showing that the garage brickwork has now been painted white and the front entrance replaced.

Andrews crosses to Mrs. Morgan's house to collect an instalment for an outstanding debt that's spiralling out of control. Oliver Musgrave discovered Margin Drive in Wimbledon SW19.

Oliver captured the scene now where Peter Bywaters points out that number 15 now has a wider drive but the three ground floor windows between the garage and front door have been retained.

Paula takes her daughter Nicola (Nicola Riley) home from Stephen Ferguson's birthday party. Peter Bywaters explains that the building seen through the bus window is 65 Warren Drive North at the corner of Tolworth Rise at Tolworth in Surbiton, Greater London with the subway steps leading down to pass beneath the A3 Kingston By Pass to the other side off the road.

While looking into her purse for the fare, Paula spots the ring that she tried on at Mrs. Ferguson's house. Through the bus window Peter Bywaters identifies numbers 91 and 93 Tolworth Rise in Tolworth, Surbiton.

Both houses have had building extensions over the intervening years as Peter's comparison shows.

Getting off the bus, Paula holds Nicola's hand as she heads to a jewellers shop. Outside 26 Coombe Lane in Raynes Park SW20 identified by Peter Bywaters.

Getting out of his Vauxhall Victor, Andrews calls on Paula and is surprised when she hands over the full amount of money owed. Margin Drive, Wimbledon identified by Oliver Musgrave.

Peter Bywaters found more property redevelopment in Margin drive, new houses to the left of frame, but the house with the white garage door has survived.

Paula accepts the offer of a lift. Oliver Musgrave explains that this is looking south-west along Margin Drive in SW19 with number 2 Windy Ridge Close in the distance.

Without the aid of a car, Oliver looked towards the new number 2.

Andrews turns from the estate and heads towards the common. Peter Bywaters identifies this as Camp Road, Wimbledon Common in SW19.

Peter took this view looking towards Camp Road explaining that the building on the right, beyond the potholes, is part of the Wimbledon Common Golf Club.

Paula questions why Andrews has stopped the car at a deserted farm yard.

Andrews follows Paula into a barn where he attempts to grab her.
