On a Monday morning, postman Mr. Bean (Adrian Edmondson) cycles along the pavement in front of his local cinema. Facing the ABC Ewell on Kingston Road, Ewell in Surrey which opened as the Rembrandt Cinema in 1938.

Having reason to believe that a pornographic film is about to be delivered, across the street Sergeant Peter (Peter Richardson) and Constable Nigel (Nigel Planer) keep watch on Toadstool's house.

When a miss aimed shot is fired by Nigel, hitting a doorbell button, Mr. Bean looks at his finger.

Clutching the can of film that has been delivered and making sure that no one is watching, Terry Toadstool gets into his Invacar while his wife June (Jennifer Saunders) stows his unnecessary wheelchair. The roadway outside number 168 Kingston Road with Kingston Parade at the corner of Stoneleigh Park Road to the right.

Nigel climbs onto the Sergeant's shoulders as the two policemen attempt to gain access to the cinema . . . before deciding that using the ladder is a better option. The side of the ABC Ewell on Kingston Road, Ewell which closed in 1998 to be demolished and replaced by Rembrandt Court.
