The journey home accompanies the film titles. The Rolls-Royce first makes its way along Outer Circle, Regent's Park. Venturing out to capture the stated Cumberland Terrace NW1 Paul Lincoln became confused and has established that the car is passing Chester Terrace, NW1 ....he will return. (RL)

Neither Eaton Walk nor North Eaton Place exist in SW1, so we have reached the Elstree Studios set where the majority of this film's action takes place.

Ruth leads Phillip into their house on the studio set.

Ruth has a trip to make. Chauffeur Dave drops her off at Heathrow airport.

Dave picks up international criminal Jacques Müller from the airport and drives him to an isolated house. Müller, Dave and the maid plan to kidnap Phillip and hold him to ransom. Geoff Dodd recognised this, from perhaps his more athletic days, as Bridgefoot Cottage, Wash Lane, South Mimms, Hertfordshire. (RL)

The scene moves to a downtrodden area of Whitechapel. This was the intersection of Winthrop Street with Brady Street E1.

A taxi delivers Philip to a shop where he buys a pet snake. The area has since succumbed to heavy redevelopment, but the building in the rear of the shot still exists. It is Durward Street School which was built in 1876 and eventually restored by the Spitalfields Trust in 1990. It now lies next to a new entrance to Whitechapel Station built for the Elizabeth line.

Panning right a little, the height of the new building on Brady Street hides Durward Street School. SJ

A deadly black mamba has been ordered by the London Institute of Toxicology. London Zoo, Regent's Park NW1.

Doctor Marion Stowe discovers that a harmless house snake has been delivered instead. She leaves with her daughter Susan (Katherine Wilkinson). London Zoo, Outer Circle NW1.

Marion realizes the consequences of the mix-up. Panning from the previous capture, this is London Zoo's flamingo enclosure.

The taxi driver (Hugh Lloyd) takes Phillip back home. Parkway NW1, looking south from the junction with Delancey Street.
