Storyline:
Jane, a singer successful in America returns to London in the Blitz to seek her former husband Nick and their son Danny. Nick who has been down on his luck and has been playing his violin in the streets gets a caberet date and the three are reunited at the same caberet when Nick conducts a ‘street orchestra’.
