Rehearsals are in progress at the Hippodrome where dancers take a break before their next number. The sign for the London Hippodrome above the Crown public house at the corner of Charing Cross Road and Little Newport Street WC2.

On her way to rehearsals, Hazel Barker (Hazel Ascot) walks through town before her dog Patch runs into the road and is knocked down.

Seeing what happened, Sylvia Shirley takes Patch and Hazel to the local hospital where house surgeon Dr. Hood saves the dog's life.

In the East End street where Hazel's father Joe runs a fishmongers, he and his Pals read in a newspaper that the hospital is facing closure when the lease runs out.

With help from Theatre Manager Mr. Shirley, Hazel, her Father and his fellow Traders put on a variety show to raise funds to buy the hospital site. This appears to be news or stock footage taken outside a theatre named the Coliseum. There's not much to go on but this is likely to be the London Coliseum on St. Martin's Lane WC2.
And there's certainly not much to go on here either! SJ
