As his brother Cliff dictates a story to their secretary Joan, Jim Brandon (John Bentley) arrives at Mrs. Crier looking for her lodger Curley Wilson. A set at Southall Studios in Middlesex.

Rushing to his car, Jim leaves Mrs. Crier's house after discovering that Curley isn't there. Antony Blair found number 100 Queens Road, which is actually on Gladstone Road, in Southall, Middlesex, just across the road from Southall Studios.
