If you have any information regarding this production, the locations or, even better, some comparison shots please contact us. Images submitted must be in Landscape orientation, as would be seen on the cinema screen, not Portrait.

We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. Please do not forward additional screen captures to us but bring the detail to our attention, for we do, and are, 're-addressing' these older entries as time allows.

  • 'Now' required

After seeing the gold shipment off loaded from the films ship ‘Megantic’ to an awaiting lorry, an almost certain set, we are presumably seeing the route that the lorry is or will be taking. As the lorry does not appear this is likely to be a stock shot. Unknown location

  • 'Now' required

Another unknown sector of the journey.

  • 'Now' required

Unknown location presumably preparing us for the proposed highjack of the lorry.

The lorry runs into a cloud of gas set by ‘Soapy Marx’ (Alastair Sim), Joe Connor (Henry Oscar) and, as it turns out, Mr Goodman, and the gold is stolen. The theft hits the newspapers. After a ‘tip off’ Soapy and Joe are arrested and serve 10 years behind bars. During a series of blurred and indistinguishable backgrounds referencing their imprisonment we see The National Gallery, Trafalgar Square.
