Guilt is my Shadow – The Okehampton Post – 18th March 1950

Chris Walpole very kindly brought this interesting article regarding the filming to our attention. Whilst doing so he told us that two friends of his, a brother and sister, were youthful extras on the day; the film-makers wanted people wandering around in the background. The boy was paid 10s and the girl 5s. The film makers filmed during the day of the show, then stayed on an extra day to film without the crowds.
