Harold the Postman (Ian Wilson) leaves the post office in Clitterburn Peckett after receiving a telegram for Sir Henry from Uncle George. Jules Ballantyne identifies the village of Latimer, Chesham, Buckinghamshire and in particular, the bay window of 'The Village House', Church Lane left hand foreground, the two dormer windows of 38 The Village, Latimer followed by 'Alice Cottage'. As soon as the location was found, Antony Blair nipped over to Latimer for this comparison.

The camera finds Harold as he cycles through the village towards Clitterburn Hall. Jules finds Stony Lane, Latimer with 41 The Green, 'Cavendish Cottage' immediately left, looking towards 'Alice Cottage'. (RL)

Riding into the countryside, Harold carries the message advising the impoverished Sir Henry that his wealthy Uncle George is arriving from Canada. Stony Lane, Latimer crossing the River Chess says Jules. The bridge can be seen in 'Rough Cut' and Stoney Lane also appears in 'Postman's Knock'. (RL)

Crossing a river, Harold continues his journey towards the estate where he finds Sir Henry out shooting. There are two footbridges over the River Chess but with limited viewing on Google Earth View it is difficult to see if this bridge relates to Latimer of the main house location. (RL)

With the message delivered late, Sir Henry has only one day to prepare for the arrival of Uncle George.
