Jack Denton (Jimmy Hanley) waits outside the prison gates for his Granddad to be released. Wandsworth Prison on Heathfield Road SW18. The prison appears in a great many productions including 'Ooh, You Are Awful', 'Poor Cow', 'Two Letter Alibi', 'Dentist On the Job', 'The Mail Van Murder', 'The Ringer' and 'Time Without Pity' with this scene being reused in 1953's 'Top of the Form'.

Peter Bywaters returned to find the premises now lacking the tall chimneys.

Told by an old Mate that he is too old to be a crook and should retire, Harry decides to carry out a kidnapping and arrives at the home of stage star Michael Farlaine where his daughter Sheila (Petula Clark) and her friend Jimmy Knowles (Anthony Newley) are waiting. Geoff Dodd found 35 Avenue Road, London NW8. Re-developed in 2012, the new building now houses the High Commission of Sri Lanka. (RL)

Outside the film's St. John's Wood address, Jimmy watches Harry drive away with Sheila in her Father's car. The property can also be seen in 'An Honourable Murder' and 'The Naked Truth'.
