The story opens in a bleak landscape somewhere in the Swiss mountains where a downed passenger aircraft rests in the snow.

Cut to Fleet Street. This footage has been around the block a few times . . . outside number 101 Fleet Street EC4 in a scene taken from 1958's 'Woman of Mystery' which is also used in 1962's 'What Every Woman Wants'.

The reused shot pans right onto Fleet Street where the Daily Express Building stands at the corner of Shoe Lane to the right.

Another cut, to the offices of the Daily Clarion. More recycling, this is Monsanto House at 10 to 18 Victoria Street SW1 which appears 'Fate Takes a Hand', 'An Honourable Murder' and 'The Pursuers'.

Inside his office, news editor Ambrose telephones for John Grayson to get to his office on the double. The frontage of Monsanto House on Victoria Street.

Assigned to cover the air crash with Jenny Rogers, Grayson sets of with her to collect statements from the colleagues and families of the Passengers and Crew. A panning shot follows the car along The Mall in SW1 with Carlton House Terrace as the backdrop.

Panning right, the camera moves to follow Grayson's Triumph Herald. The pan ends facing Admiralty Arch at the north-eastern end of The Mall with buildings on Spring Gardens and Trafalgar Square beyond.

The Reporters turn into the driveway of Potters Bar Hospital. The entrance to Potters Bar & District Hospital on Mutton Lane in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire.

Inside the hospital, Grayson and Miss Rogers speak with the Superintendent about surgeon Sir Harold Craig who he hopes is one of the survivors. A sign confirms Potters Bar & District Hospital on Mutton Lane, Potters Bar.

At Wormwood Scrubs, solicitor Jamieson speaks with Tom Flynn whose alibi Marty Opus was on the plane. Wormwood Scrubs on Du Cane Road W12, a location that appears in numerous productions including 'Seven Keys', 'Doctor in Clover', 'The Horses Mouth', 'Fate Takes a Hand', '13 East Street', 'The Italian Job' and 'Frenzy'.

Grayson and Jenny call on Jamieson at his chambers. Old Square, Lincoln's Inn WC2 which can also be seen in 'Home to Danger' and 'Eight O'Clock Walk'.

Grayson and Jenny leave after gathering scant information from the Agent. Wardour Street with the Round House public house at the corner of Brewer Street to the left and Ley-Ons restaurant at numbers 89 to 91 on the right.

Having discovered that the various people that they have spoken to have their own reasons for hoping that their clients or colleagues have survived the crash, Grayson drives Jenny to the next call. Elstree Road in Bushey Heath, Hertfordshire.

Grayson turns the car from the main road and into the driveway of an orphanage. The entrance to Caldecote Towers on Elstree Road, Bushey Heath.

Caldecote Towers also features in 'So Evil, So Young', 'Subterfuge' and 'The Abominable Dr. Phibes' and the Triumph Herald Coupe YDU 927 is also driven around in 'Fate Takes a Hand', another Danziger production.

Inside the home, the Matron explains to John Grayson and Jenny Rogers (Pauline Yates) that she was expecting Mrs. Phillips to arrive that day to collect two displaced Children from Poland. Outside Caldecote Towers in Bushey Heath.

After meeting Yarkoff and Millda Koboski, the two Reporters leave the orphanage. The entrance to Caldecote Towers on Elstree Road in Bushey Heath.

With newspapers reporting on progress towards finding survivors from the air disaster, Grayson and Jenny call on the family of air stewardess Sally Perkins.

The doorbell is rung at the house where John Perkins and his wife Mary are attempting to hide news of the crash from his blind Mother.

At the hospital Mr. Reynolds tells patient Ann Manor's Parents that there's still no news. Dating from the 1930s, Potters Bar & District Hospital was closed in 1995 and the site is now occupied by a supermarket.

After Grayson and Jenny come across Customs Officers searching co-pilot Richard Burke's apartment and discover that passenger Arthur Sylvester's wife Betty is having an affair, a telephone call to Ambrose updates them about rescue in Switzerland before an evening off. Recognised by Ben Dalton, the police call box and K3 telephone kiosk stand on Hampstead Lane N6 at the corner of an entrance to Kenwood House and Hampstead Heath where the wall encloses the Kitchen Garden and Kenwood Nursery.

Next morning, Ambrose receives a call from the Editor telling him to write a piece about actress Lillian Telson. Facing the Canned Foods Advisory Bureau at number 37 Baker Street W1 which is seen in the Danziger's 'The Durant Affair'.

Grayson picks up Jenny from her apartment and the pair head to see Mr. Philbert to ask about his business partner Bob Lansing. Simon James recognised Lancaster Gate in W2, facing numbers 50 to 47.

After the police car departs with the swindler, Grayson and Jenny drive away. Simon James found Lancaster Gate W2 with gardens to the south of Christ Church on the left.

The next call is a maternity hospital where pilot Larry Gurney's Wife has just given birth to their son. The sign reads Bushey Maternity Hospital which stood on Heathbourne Road in Bushey Heath, Hertfordshire.

Getting out of the car, Grayson and Jenny go inside to find Pamela Gurney. Bushey Maternity Hospital closed in the 1970s and the site has since been redeveloped as a private hospital.

Grayson and Jenny travel to the Alpine village of Leidenberg along with Mr. Reynolds, Mr. and Mrs. Manor, Mrs. Sylvester, Mr. Jamieson, Mrs. Gurney and Mr. Bell when a bulletin is received that three Survivors are being carried from the wreck. Hotel Bellevue des Alpes at Kleine Scheidegg in the Canton of Bern, Switzerland.

A horse drawn sledge comes to a stand outside the hotel where everyone is to await the arrival of the Survivors. An unidentified building, but one that also appears in 1963's 'Six Sided Triangle'.
