At Cyril and Betty Clarke's dinner party, Merlin Mound grants the host's wishes by making a bottle of wine appear from a Scottish Castle before magically removing the dresses from two Young Women at spiv Alfie's birthday celebrations in Brixton and transferring them to a wardrobe at the Clarke's house. Likely to be a stock shot, this is Duart Castle on the Isle of Mull in the Inner Hebrides, part of Argyllshire. The 13th century castle can also be seen in 'When Eight Bells Toll' and 'I Know Where I'm Going'.

After the mysterious Merlin Mound disappears with Betty Clarke in a puff of smoke, her husband Cyril opens his front door to pursue them and sees an approaching car carrying the angry Alfie, along with his Boys. Antony Blair identifies Ingram Avenue in NW11 with Spaniards Close out of sight to the right.

Arriving from the opposite direction, a police car brings an Inspector, a Plainclothes Officer and food inspector Mr. Short. Looking from number 32 onto Ingram Avenue in Hampstead Garden Suburb, located by Antony Blair.

Outside the Clarke's house, Alfie (Harry Fowler) gets out of his Hupmobile as the police car comes to a stand. Antony Blair recognised Ingram Avenue with number 37 in the background.

Alfie, Honest Joe (Cardew Robinson), the Heavy, Mr. Short (Jon Pertwee), the Police Inspector (Arthur Lawrence) and the Plainclothes Policeman (Anthony Steel) all scatter when Cyril Clarke sounds the horn of his MG-T as he speeds from the house. Facing number 32 Ingram Avenue, found by Antony Blair.

Having turned the car, the Spivs head back to the junction and pick up the road to Doomsday Hall where a surreal sequence brings the film to its conclusion.
