Richard Lovejoy confirms, with this picture, that it is Crossfield Road and much smarter now but parking has become more difficult.

Lucille approaches the steps to No 11 Crossfield Road, located and snapped by Richard.

Lucille's husband, Robert, has followed her. Crossfield Road in NW3 identified by Aileen Reid who adds that it's the west side looking north. Peter Finch points out that the 3-litre Lagonda 161 GMC here is also seen in 'The Vicious Circle'. (RL)

The view from Franklyn's window. Southall sidings and Loco Shed in Middlesex. Peter Robinson adds that the distant building is the Quaker Oats factory and that the loco shed is still in use housing privately owned steam engines.

In his Lagonda, Robert drives to the end of the road to wait. Continuity suggests that this is the end of Crossfield Road on Eton Avenue NW3 but . . . . .

. . . . it is actually Crossfield Road at the junction with Adamson Road. The post box is still there, indeed it is likely to be the same one as it is from the reign of Queen Victoria. Photo and location identification by Richard Lovejoy.

Suspicion falls on Robert when Lucille is found murdered. The Police drive to the Ainsworth's house.

Clive Franklyn (John Van Eyssen) is arrested after a struggle in the railway sidings. This is alongside one of the railway yards in Southall with Park Avenue in the background. The location also features in 'Stormy Crossing'.
