If you have any information regarding this production, the locations or, even better, some comparison shots please contact us. Images submitted must be in Landscape orientation, as would be seen on the cinema screen, not Portrait.

We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. With the help of Neil Rigby and Britmovie the house has been located alongside the River Thames, at Shepperton just east of Church Square. (RL)

To get the best comparison, Nick Boorman took this from the other side of the river.

House on a lake. That lake is the River Thames, see above. (RL)

The view from the house next to Shepperton Square. Provided by Jeremy Lowe who remembers various sequences being filmed in and around the square back in 73/74. He was rowing a boat at the time and was told to row out of the frame! (SJ)

House on a lake, yep Old Father Thames just keeps rollin'. (RL)

Funny lift, not sure why this was included, it is an interior, and not a real street. However Charles Bird offers an identification: the old staff lifts in St Thomas' Hospital; taken out in the late 90's when the safety 'elf found them... Peter Greene offers an alternative. He says this paternoster lift might be at Charing Cross Hospital, Fulham. CXH opened in 1973 which might fit better with the time of filming since there would not have been patients there at the time. Also the sequence continues in which is probably the private patient ward on the top (15th) floor, nicely out of the way. The metal detector arch is a prop. Peter was a student at CXH med school from 1976 and remember the lifts working but may have been replaced by 1981... And in 2025 Sheila Cairns avers the new Medical Block of the West Middlesex Hospital, as she was working there at the time of filming... And also in 2025 Chris Miles suggests a building, whose lift he rode, next to Elstree Studios in Borehamwood used also in The Prisoner. (SJ)

A couple of additional captures supplied by Mario di Carlo who is keen to discover the location of Lonely's Pad. Antony Blair recognised the junction of Bramley Road and St. Ann's Road in W10, which also features in 'Who Done It?'

This junction has been redesigned independent of the former buildings' footprint. Bramley Road now merges into St Ann's Road from the left with a branch out to the west where I'm standing instead of running straight SSW over the bollards on the left as it used to. Talking of branches, the tree stands where St. Ann's Road used to turn to join Bramley Road. SJ

Panning right from above brings more of the corner of Bramley Road and St. Ann's Road into view. Location found by Antony Blair.

All redeveloped (the original was still there in 1977 for The Squeeze). Behind me and running to my right is an intact terrace including the former Bramley Arms, seen in many a production. SJ
