If you have any information regarding this production, the locations or, even better, some comparison shots please contact us. Images submitted must be in Landscape orientation, as would be seen on the cinema screen, not Portrait.
We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. Please do not forward additional screen captures to us but bring the detail to our attention, for we do, and are, 're-addressing' these older entries as time allows.

Tony Winzar identifies this back projection as Maidenhead bus station on Bridge Avenue with a red Thames Valley bus just coming into view bottom left. The footage appears to have been taken from the library roof.

Tony Winzar took this shot of the pair of houses on the opposite side of the road to the bus station. The whole area is currently fenced off and the buildings boarded up ready for, I guess, demolition.

Tony Winzar provides two images as a short post script. This is Maidenhead bus station on Bridge Avenue with a red Thames Valley bus just coming into view bottom left. The back projected view of the bus station where Jim Dale climbs onto the roof of the Nurses' Home seems to have been taken from the library roof. Tony adds that the bus station was demolished in the 1970s and this picture from the same era appears to be taken from the 'Syntex' office building in St. Ives Road, which is next to Maidenhead Library and opposite Maidenhead Town Hall. Unknown copyright.

Tony Winzar tells us "For completeness, this is the building that now stands on the bus station site. Taken with my back to the row of semi-detached houses seen in the film. The building to the far left, beyond the modern looking library, is the 'SYNTEX' offices from which I would think that the elevated shot of Jim Dale was taken.
