Stewart Packham tells us that the shop is a chemist on Molesey Road at the corner of Claremont Close in Hersham, Walton-on-Thames in Surrey and continues to say that "The Iron Monger next door was run by Mr. Dolly and the scene looks very similar today".
John Harwood observes, "The chimney has been removed from the shop opposite as extensions were formed. The owners of the Carpet Shop which it now is, were fascinated about the story of their shop." (SJ)

According to Nick Williams, this is the King Edward VII hospital on St. Leonards Road in Windsor, Berkshire which also featured in the opening titles of 'Nurse on Wheels'.
Malcolm Tinnelly returned to the hospital.

A clue? I don't think so, but the street looks north London. Indeed it is, Albert Street, N.W.1 to be exact Denis Hoare advises. (RL)
Denis couldn't get the exact angle because of parked cars but the fictional "West Street" sign is definitely on the old front garden wall of #66 Albert Street, NW1. Just a few steps away from Capture 10, at number 58. The relative location of GPO cover confirms. (RL)

Wandsworth Prison on Heathfield Road SW18. The prison makes an appearance in many productions including ‘The Dark Stairway’, ‘Get Santa’, 'Two Letter Alibi', ‘The Criminal’, ‘Emergency’, ‘Inside Information’, 'The Price of Silence', 'Dead Man's Chest', ‘Law and Disorder’, ‘There Was a Crooked Man’, ‘The Ringer’ and ‘The Cracksman’.
