Storyline:

Doctor Dolittle is a world-renowned veterinarian who speaks a wide array of animal languages. He sets off from his home in Puddleby-on-the-Marsh, England, in search of the Great Pink Sea Snail. In so doing, he and his friends meet such exotic creatures as the Pushme-Pullyu and the Giant Moon Moth.

Shipwrecked

A well advertised location spot though pinpointing it is not exactly easy. SJ

Harrison before development came to Marigot Bay, St Lucia.

This is "Doolittle's" Restaurant, well placed for cashing in on the fame of the film. They do seem to spell it with the extra "o" and it's spreading on internet sites. SJ

And there's been a lot of development which may have shifted the sandbanks a bit. SJ
