In Nov '15, Jules Ballantyne found that the house has been demolished and that gap has been used to build an even bigger property. One pillar and the crossing remains. 44 Avenue Road, London NW8, supported by Google, now replaces by SJ. It looks like a tree to the left has gone.

Has a NW8 feel to it. Quite correct, No 44 Avenue Road, actually, as found by Jules Ballantyne. (RL)

Once the US move out of their embassy in 2017 and hotel conversion takes place, this route may well be restored. SJ
