Samuel Pickwick, Nathaniel Winkle, Augustus Snodgrass and Tracy Tupman set out with Alfred Jingle and travel by coach into the county of Kent.

At Dingley Dell Farm, Mr. Wardle (Walter Fitzgerald) waits for the Pickwick Club members to arrive as Joe (Gerald Campion) stands nearby with his wheelbarrow. Mary French pinpoints this one, Manor House on Manor Road, Walton-on-Thames in Surrey. (RL)

Nathaniel Winkle (James Donald) and the others attend Mrs. Leo Hunter's 'Literary Fancy Dress Breakfast Party' at The Den in Etonsville. Mary French more specifically locates this as Oatlands Park Hotel on Oatlands Drive in Weybridge, Surrey. (RL)

Admitting that the shot is taken from the wrong angle, John Harwood provides a clearer view of the belvedere..

Mrs. Leo Hunter (Joyce Grenfell) greets her guest of honour, Mr. Pickwick. This again says Mary, is the Oatlands Park Hotel, Weybridge.

John Harwood found that a bandstand has sprung up.

Being found out whilst masquerading as Captain James Fitz-Marshall, Alfred Jingle (Nigel Patrick) speeds from the garden party. Mary places this as the grand entrance to what was Oatlands House in Weybridge, converted to an hotel in the mid 19th century. (RL)

Mr. Nupkins the magistrate arrives after Samuel Pickwick is caught at Miss Tompkins Seminary for Young Ladies trying to warn the proprietress about Mr. Jingle. Julie Northcote recognised Byfleet Manor off Mill Lane in Byfleet, Surrey which also featured in 2014's 'Into the Woods' as well as television's 'Downton Abbey'.

While Mr. Pickwick is incarcerated in a debtor's prison, Mr. Jackson from Dodson & Fogg arrives to take Mrs. Bardell to court. As a result of watching the film 'Mr Turner', Jules Ballantyne located this as Barton Street SW1, looking towards Great College Street.

The camera pans to follow, from Barton Street to Cowley Street.

Replacing Google (RL), this "now" nearly matches the time of day and reveals that the house on the corner of the bend of Cowley Street (mid-left) is an addition and indeed on close inspection, the bricks are of a different era. SJ
