"Nutbourne" station, maybe Liss in Hampshire? And, if you're quick, you'll see that there was no guard on the station, and, in the later station scene with Alistair Sims, one of the carriage doors is still open as the train departs. Chris and James Churcher confirm that this is indeed Liss station on the LMR. The station can be seen in 'The Great St. Trinian's Train Robbery'. (RL)
For this and particularly all other shots on the Longmoor Military Railway taken today I have to thank sincerely Chris and James for their informative and knowledgeable tour which brought the whole system to life and resolved some "unknown's"...even for them! The station is not quite as well ordered now as it was in "Nutbourne" days but at least it is still there. (RL)
