According to Roger Cullingham and the RWWS Forum "The Avon Hotel" was actually, The Old House Hotel, Thames Street, Windsor, now the Sir Christopher Wren Hotel and Spa. This shot however shows High Street, Eton viewed from Eton Court. (RL)
