If you have any information regarding this production, the locations or, even better, some comparison shots please contact us. Images submitted must be in Landscape orientation, as would be seen on the cinema screen, not Portrait.
We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. Please do not forward additional screen captures to us but bring the detail to our attention, for we do, and are, 're-addressing' these older entries as time allows.
- Capture 1
- 26 Jul 2019
Prince Leo (Marcello Mastroianni) feeds the birds as he walks home. This is Barandon Street W11 with Bramley Road and the bridge carrying the Hammersmith & City line in the centre background.

With a different street pattern behind him, Sean Kaye-Smith provides this closer view of the railway bridge.
- Capture 2

When he hears a noise, Leo turns. The only location is on and around Testerton Street in London W11 and yes, the house is real, albeit redressed for the film from three existing properties.

Looking at old maps, the left of the terrace would be on the grass behind the trees on the right and the right built over by Hurstway Walk. SJ
- Capture 3
- 15 Dec 2015
A drunk staggers along the street before collapsing. Looking along Testerton Street with Blechynden Street visible in the left distance. An almost identical shot was seen in 'Duffer'.
And this is what the area looks like nearly 45 years later. (PW)
- Capture 4
- 26 Jul 2019
Kowalski (Kenneth J. Warren) gets a dousing by his Wife (Patsy Smart). The corner of Barandon Street and Testerton Street. The Lancaster West Estate now occupies the location.

The same location now by Sean Kaye-Smith.
- Capture 5
- 07 Apr 2025
Leo follows a funeral procession through the damp streets. Facing south-west on Testerton Street in Ladbroke Grove.

This is the view south-west between Testerton Walk on the left and Hurstway Walk on the right. The set of the three houses at the end of the then Testerton Street is now occupied by the end of Hurstway in the centre of this picture. SJ
- Capture 6
- 07 Apr 2025
Accompanied by Roscoe (Calvin Lockhart), Leo heads up a mob and marches towards his house. The junction of Testerton Street and Blechynden Street in London W11.

Now looking north-east to the former junction close to where The Grenfell Tower still stands for the time being, though, being shrouded, is difficult to discern in the grey sky. SJ
- Capture 7
- 07 Apr 2025
As the mob approaches, Margaret (Billie Whitelaw), David (David de Keyser) and Max (Graham Crowden) emerge from the building. The properties stand at the southern end of Testerton Street.

A closer shot on much the same angle as cap5 with the row of three terraced properties formerly standing where Hurstway Walk (on the right) is now. This would be from close to the junction with the former Barandon Street. SJ
