A film full of second unit shots and doubles taking the place of the actors who never left US soil. First we have Admiralty Arch standing between The Mall and Trafalgar Square in London SW1.

A taxi takes American heiress Kit Preston to meet her husband at his offices. Trafalgar Square with The National Gallery in the right distance.

The taxi negotiates the roundabout in front of Lambeth Palace in SE1. Among other productions, the location is also seen in 'George and Mildred', 'The Reluctant Bride', 'How to Get Ahead in Advertising', 'The Cracksman', 'Seventy Deadly Pills', 'The Man Without a Body', 'Bullseye!', 'Too Hot to Handle'.
Peter was at the same location, with the trees showing healthy growth over the intervening years.

The camera tracks the cab as it comes to a stand outside the offices of Preston Mining. Lambeth Road runs away to the right while the former church of St Mary-at-Lambeth, home to the Tradescant Garden Museum, can be seen on the left.
And Peter pans right to find a similar shot.

Kit enters the building carrying newly bought clothes including a nightgown called "Midnight Lace". The suggestion is that this is Lambeth Bridge House but it's likely to be a few thousand miles from London.

The newlywed heiress arrives outside the Grosvenor Square apartment block where she lives with her husband. We may be looking at a set at the studios.

Back at London Airport, Kit waits to meet her Aunt Bea. The Europa Building at Heathrow Airport in Middlesex which became Terminal 2 before being closed in 2009 and demolished the following year.

At the studio back lot, a shadowy figure peruses a window display as Kit leaves a store across the road.
An original movie poster, 65cm x 1.00cm (about 26" x 40") with normal wear inc. crease splits, pin holes, tape marks. Good used condition. £45.00 + p&p.
