If you have any information regarding this production, the locations or, even better, some comparison shots please contact us. Images submitted must be in Landscape orientation, as would be seen on the cinema screen, not Portrait.
We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. Please do not forward additional screen captures to us but bring the detail to our attention, for we do, and are, 're-addressing' these older entries as time allows.

An establishing shot of the Martin's Thames side apartment block where the Doctor's wife reads a letter saying that her husband is bringing a patient to live with them for three weeks. Not Thames side really, but St James's Court on Prince Albert Road, London NW8 says Jules Ballantyne. The building can also be seen in 'Meet Mr Callaghan', 'A Touch of Larceny' and 'For Members Only'. (RL)
The trees have grown somewhat and a top floor has been added. (RL)

At a Cornish halt, Dr Martin prepares to lift Miranda onto the branch line train. Peter Brown believes this to be Golant Station on the Lostwithiel-Fowey Branch. The background and lamp standards being correct, as well as the previous few frames showing the river estuary. The waiting shelter and its support steel work is also correct but the cladding appears to have changed by the 1960's. (RL)

After Miranda starts flirting with every man she meets, Nurse Carey takes the mermaid to the home of Nigel, an artist friend of the Martins. King's Road in Chelsea SW3 with Lincoln Street on the extreme left. The corner was also seen in 'The London Nobody Knows' and 'Say Hello to Yesterday'.

Charles (David Tomlinson) takes Miranda (Glynis Johns) to the zoo where they watch seals being fed. London Zoo in Regent's Park, London NW1. Other parts of the zoo were seen in 'Bedazzled', 'An Alligator Named Daisy' and 'Subterfuge'.

Occupation by the tiger enclosure has made direct comparison impossible but this is. or rather was, the sea-lion area, which they're looking at in the capture. SJ

When Miranda disappears from the flat, Dr Paul Martin runs out and sees her heading for the river. Supposedly somewhere along Chelsea Embankment or Grosvenor Road judging by the next few frames, but Jules Ballantyne located St James's Court on Prince Albert Road, London NW8. (RL)

Peter took a picture of the building back in Nov 2016 but there are two entrances facing Prince Albert Road and this is the south-west one. SJ
