Having been confined to the studio for almost 30 minutes, Detective Sam Lowry (Lee Patterson) and Inspector O’Neill (Eddie Byrne) are allowed into the real world. This is Swan Street in Isleworth, Middlesex.

As she walks past, Anne Ford (Betty McDowall) glances across to where the two Policemen are talking. Swan Street in Isleworth recognised by Rob Clack who tells us that the buildings also appear in 'Das Verrätertor (Traitor’s Gate)'.

Sam crosses to Anne who is looking for a cab. The background building was a school before being used as a workshop until becoming part of The Old Blue School. Antony Blair explains that the back of the building originally had only two arched windows with the other four having been sympathetically added sometime during the intervening years to make the building uniform all the way round.

Further along the road, Sam turns before hailing an approaching Hackney Carriage. The area around Swan Street and Lower Square also appears in ‘Calculated Risk’, Da Verrätertor', 'Walk a Tightrope' and ‘Dublin Nightmare’.
