25 years on, Paul Tritton’s book A Canterbury Tale – Memories of a Classic Wartime Movie has been republished. This second edition, with a colour supplement, features the reunion of two stars of the film, Lady Attenborough (Shiela Sim), who played Alison, and John Sweet (Sgt Bob Johnson), nearly 60 years after they worked together; events in honour of Michael Powell, and guided location walks for devotees who come from all over the world to discover the secrets of ‘Chillingbourne’.
