Many Congratulations to Earl Cameron who was born on the 8th August 1917 in Bermuda and celebrates his Hundred and Second Birthday today. Together with Cy Grant, he is known as one of the first black actors to break the ‘colour bar’ in the United Kingdom. He played in many films, some of which appear on our site; Pool of London (1955), Sapphire (1959), Flame in the Streets (1961), Thunderball (1965), The Sandwich Man (1966) and many others.
