As the Galactic Council bestow the supreme power to do absolutely anything on Neil, the schoolteacher is knocked over by a van whilst cycling home. The corner of Cressida Road and Cheverton Road in N19.

Oblivious to his powers, Neil swears "F*c* you" at the van's Driver. At the corner of Cressida Road and Cheverton Road in Archway with properties on Gladsmuir Road in the right background.

In a coffee shop, Neil's neighbour Catherine talks with her friend Rosie about work and relationships.

Running late again, Neil arrives at school. These steps lead down from Hornsey Lane to the entrance of the since closed and replaced Ashmount Primary School.

10c's teacher enters the building to face the inevitable conflict with Headmaster, Mr. Robinson. Whitehall Park School now occupies the site at the corner of Hornsey Lane and Ashmount Road in Highgate.

That evening, after killing his class, Neil runs with his dog Dennis as they chase an empty whisky bottle that has been brought to life. Alastair Jones identifies this for us as King Street, Hammersmith, Kings Court immediately to the right and the shop centre capture being No 308, currently 'Coffeeology'. (RL)

Neil watches as the bottle jumps through the window of the local off-licence's door. Alastair remembers this shop at 296 King Street, Hammersmith, London W6 as a food and wine shop with a petrol station opposite (now a branch of Tesco's). (RL)

Now a rental management firm with a still charming frontage. SJ

With the shop's alarm sounding, Neil escapes from a responding Police Officer (James Kermack) when Dennis bites him. This, Alastair says, is Hamlet Gardens on the corner with King Street, Hammersmith. (RL)

Neil brings the dead back to life when he orders that everyone who died be alive again.

The walking dead disappear from outside Neil's flat when he corrects his request to mean everyone in class 10c! Outside 17 to 21 Lissenden Gardens in Kentish Town NW5.

The school bell rings, signalling the start of another day. A day on which Neil turns his class into model pupils, makes the Headmaster be nice to him and Miss Pringle worship his colleague Ray. Ashmount Primary School.

Turning a corner before catching sight of his reflection in an Estate Agents window, Neil wishes that he was President of the United States. The corner of Campdale Road and Mercers Road.

Still an estate agents but much greener. SJ

Security Agents appear and hustle him into a car. Campdale Road in N19 with Tufnell Park Playing Fields in the background.

I realise that this should be panned more to the right. But it was a very warm afternoon. SJ

The Agents fire at a Gunman across the road. This was a former garage that stood to the south of Tufnell Park Playing Fields. Residential properties now occupy the site.

And the forecourt has been shortened. SJ

As the President is driven away from danger, Neil wishes that he was back at home. Looking northward along Campdale Road from the corner of Mercers Road N19.

At school whilst Neil explainins to Ray about his powers, a skeleton that has been brought to life jumps from a window into the arms of Mr. Robinson (Eddie Izzard). Likely to be Ashmount Primary School, but currently unconfirmed.

Ray Palmer (Sanjeev Bhaskar) enjoys the best sandwich he's ever tasted, courtesy of Neil. Tris identifies this as looking south-east towards the City from the top of Hampstead Heath's Parliament Hill in NW3.

As Catherine leaves work, a yellow McLaren Spider approaches. Facing west on Brad Street in SE1 with the corner of Windmill Walk in the background. The street is seen in ‘The Glass Cage’.

Colonel Grant Kotchev (Rob Riggle) draws alongside telling Catherine to "Jump in, babe". Brad Street running beneath the platforms of Waterloo East station.

The American tosses a set of his apartment keys to Catherine before driving away after she tells him to leave her alone. Looking east on Brad Street with the junction formed by Greet Street ahead.

Bit of trickery here as the Spider drives off towards where it drew up before, if you follow! This is west of Windmill Walk rather than east. SJ

The morning after a night spent with Catherine, Neil feels good after creating a sunny day.

Chasing Catherine's bus, Neil bumps into Grant.

Stopping in his tracks, Neil waves his hand and wishes himself to be on the bus.

"I don't mean on the bus, I mean in the bus."

As Grant changes all policemen's uniforms pink, Ray and Catherine head for Grant's luxury flat. Facing north on Navigator Square in N19.

With Grant's wrongs righted and failing in his attempt to make the world a better place, Neil heads for the river. Hammersmith Bridge crossing the Thames between Hammersmith and Barnes.

Neil looks down at Dennis, telling him that he's made arrangements for his biscuits. Hammersmith Bridge, dating from 1887, which makes an appearance in numerous other productions including 'Burnt Evidence', 'Dunkirk', 'Curse of the Golem', 'A Nice Girl Like Me', 'Theatre of Blood', 'The Man Who Never Was' and 'The Killing of Sister George'.

Fortunately pedestrians and cyclists have been allowed back on to the bridge while substantive repairs are undertaken. (RL)
