Absolutely Fabulous

After getting drunk and disgracing themselves at 2016's London Fashion Week, a Bentley Mulsanne takes Edina her friend Patsy home to West Hamstead. 19 Ranulf Road, London NW2.

Recovering herself when she falls out of the car, Edina Monsoon (Jennifer Saunders) topples into a hedge outside the house she shares with her mother June, her daughter Saffy and granddaughter Lola. Outside number 19 Ranulf Road in West Hampstead.

A Delivery Man returns to his van when Eddie tells him that the order has to go back after Marshall tells her that he can no longer afford the payments on the house. Facing 19 Ranulf Road in NW2.

In the back of a Bentley borrowed from Emma Bunton, Eddie, Patsy and Bubbles peruse magazines as they're driven to see Joel, the prospective publisher of "A Fabulous Life", Eddie's life story. Horseguards Parade seen from Horseguards Road SW1 with the Old Admiralty Building to the left.

As Joel (Mark Gatiss) peruses the manuscript for the first time, Eddie begs him for an advance. The view outside is of Canary Wharf with the Barclays Building at One Churchill Place visible through the left hand window.

Needing to check the Huki Muki mannequins before that evening's event, Patsy Stone (Joanna Lumley) leaves the building followed by Eddie and Bubble (Jane Horrocks). The entrances on the south side of One Canada Square in E14.

Wondering why the Huki Muki event is being held by the river as it stinks of fish, Casper (Nick Mohammed) comes into view and heads towards Patsy, fashion editor for "The A". At the "PR Person of the Month" lunch hosted by Claudia Bing, Patsy calls Eddie to tell her that she's heard Kate Moss is changing her PR and that she's going to be at the Huki Muki. Eddie and Patsy are held in a police station for their own safety where Saffy's boyfriend Nick, a Detective Inspector, explains that manslaughter charges might be brought.

Suzy Menkes (Herself) makes a comment that "fashion is dead" as television stations continue to report on the missing fashion icon.

Bringing newspapers, Patsy makes her way through Reporters as she approaches Eddie's house to tell her friend that she's lost her job. The pavement outside 19 Ranulf Road in NW2.

Deciding to search for Kate themselves, Eddie, Patsy and Bubble take a dinghy onto the river. In the left background stand now obscured buildings on Lower Thames Street, visible between the demolition and construction of the old and new Sugar Quay offices at the corner of Water Lane.

After Bubble is pushed into the water to see where she will drift, Eddie and Patsy call her name when she fails to reappear. Facing west on the Thames with City Hall and 20 Fenchurch Street beyond Tower Bridge.

Speeding away from where Bubble disappeared, the pair leave the dinghy and make their way to shore. Custom House Walkway adjacent to Custom House Lower Stairs at the end of Water Lane in EC3.

Worried that she's now killed two people, Eddie hurries from the river as Patsy collides with a bollard. Looking along Water Lane from Lower Thames Street.

As they continue to run, Patsy tells Eddie that they have to get away, leave the country . . . even head north!

As part of a plan, Catriona (Helen Lederer) and Fleur (Harriet Thorpe) are called to Eddie's house. Facing south-east from outside 17 Ranulf Road in West Hampstead NW2.

Kirsty Wark reports that Police are urging crowds to move on as the flowers and offerings of Hunter Wellingtons and bottles of Sauvignon Blanc are proving a hazard to shipping.

Disguised as Catriona and Fleur, Eddie and Patsy manage to escape from the house and take Lola along to the airport where they catch a Budget flight to the south of France.

Intending to pursue her terrible PR agent, Lulu (Herself) tells her Assistant (Dan Jarratt-Cook) that she's going to the south of France to make sure the police do their job. Wilton Mews at the corner of Chester Street.

In the south of France, Eddie, Patsy and Lola take up residence in a plush hotel. Hotel Martinez at the corner of Boulevard de la Croisette and Rue Latour-Maubourg in Cannes, Alpes-Maritimes.

In their room, Eddie explains to Lola that Patsy is going in search of an old flame, Charles Douglas, who has more money than marbles. Hotel Martinez on Boulevard de la Croisette dates from the 1920s.

Remarking how young they are after entering the hotel's casino, Patsy and Eddie head to the terrace where they find Charles.

While Patsy is put off by the older Charles in Cannes, back in London Saffy takes a taxi home. London Bridge crosses the bottom of the frame while Southwark Cathedral stands to the bottom left.

A news broadcast on the cab's radio reports that Edina Monsoon may have fled the country which prompts Saffy to call her Gran who is holidaying in Cannes.

Having hooked Patsy up with the richest woman in the world, Dowager Baroness Lubliana Thysen von Rothschild und Muck, a wedding is hastily arranged. Eze Cote d' Azur Viaduct in Alpes-Maritimes with Église Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption in the village of Eze to the top left. Manuel Gurtner advises that the viaduct is also known as Pont du Diable and can also be seen in 'Foreign Intrigue', 'The Liquidator' and 'To Catch a Thief'.

Patsy, the Baroness and Eddie are driven off to the Grand-Hotel Du Cap-Ferrat for the happy couple to begin their honeymoon.

Allowing the Baroness retire alone, Patsy tells Eddie that she's tremendously happy.

When Lulu arrives, Bubble explains that she can afford a house like this as she does all the accounts. Palais Bulles on Boulevard de l'Esterel in Théoule-sur-Mer, Alpes-Maritimes which was owned by fashion designer Pierre Cardin. The quirky villa was designed by Antti Luvag in the 1970s.

On the far side of the pool, Police Officers appear after Eddie answers her phone when Saffy calls.

Officers search the pool and find Dame Edna Everage (Barry Humphries) while looking for Eddie.

Patsy and Eddie run from the hotel where they find a delivery van at the gates. Outside Le Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat on Avenue de la Corniche.

With no Streetview on the narrow streets of Villefranche-sur-Mer it's difficult to trace the route of the chase though the town.

The Piaggio bumps down a series of steps . . . which Patsy quite enjoys.

Swerving to avoid a cycle race, Eddie turns towards a hill.

The van slows to a halt on the incline.

When Patsy shouts brake, the handbrake comes off in Eddie's hand before the van begins to move backwards.

The Piaggio rolls past a police car carrying Saffy and Nick . . . .

. . . . before careering over a wall to end up in the pool at Bubble's villa.

In London, Kate Moss walks from the River Thames and asks the Mudlark where the party is. The foreshore on the Thames with the Prospect of Whitby to the top left.

After the world rejoices at the reappearance of Kate Moss, Eddie is declared innocent before becoming a "big cheese" in PR.

Living the dream, Eddie and Patsy are whisked away by helicopter.

Flying over London, the two are taken to the launch of Eddie's book.

Returning to the south of France, Pat Stone reveals to the Baroness that he's actually a woman . . .

. . . to which Lubliana Thysen von Rothschild und Muck replies "and I'm not a woman!".
