The disgraced Major Daviot takes up residence at his club in London. Steve Randall identifies the view as facing the Junior Carlton Club at 30 Pall Mall SW1. The London gentlemen's club was established in 1864 and disbanded in 1977.

Finding that his accuser, John Grant, has joined the club, Major George Daviot (Clive Brook) moves to lodging at the seedy Eagle Hotel. This has the appearance of a set but is included to show one of the film’s stars.

85 years later. This replaces my shot from July 2017 which wasn't dead centre and the sky wasn't blue enough. SJ
