If you have any information regarding this production, the locations or, even better, some comparison shots please contact us. Images submitted must be in Landscape orientation, as would be seen on the cinema screen, not Portrait.
We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. Please do not forward additional screen captures to us but bring the detail to our attention, for we do, and are, 're-addressing' these older entries as time allows.

Rod Hamilton (Richard Attenborough) leaves his house at the beginning of this film starring several jazz legends including Dave Brubeck, Johnny Dankworth and Tubby Hayes. This is Belgrave Place, London SW1 which is also seen in 'The Counterfeit Plan' and 'Breaking Point'.

The wealthy music promoter heads south of the river to a converted warehouse where he's arranged a first anniversary party for bandleader Aurelius Rex and his wife Delia. This is looking south across London Bridge towards SE1 with Southwark Cathedral to the top right. A similar view appears in 'Seven Days to Noon'.
From a lower height, Peter provides this image showing the rebuilding that has taken place to the left.

The camera finds the car as Rod drives over the junction of London Bridge, Borough High Street, Duke Street Hill and Station Approach.
The light begins to fade in Peter's picture too.

Bright headlights and titles obscure this scene at the junction of Borough High Street and Bedale Street with the corner of St. Thomas Street in the background.
No bright lights to obscure Peter's comparison.

The Bentley reaches the narrow streets of London's south-bank docklands. IMDb lists Shad Thames in Bermondsey as a location but this doesn't quite hit the spot. It's actually Stoney Street in Southwark, other views of which can be seen in 'The Young Americans', 'O Lucky Man!' and 'Keep the Aspidistra Flying'.
A clearer view of the bridge in Peter's shot which also highlights reconstruction that has taken place in the area.

Rod steers through darkened back streets. Looking west along Clink Street SE1 identified by Gavin Rymill.

The publicist arrives outside ‘The Warehouse’, a swanky riverside venue that predates today's dockland conversions. Clink Street, outside Pickfords Wharf.
The buildings have seen redevelopment over the years as is seen by Peter's comparison shot looking up at Pickford's Wharf.

Aurelius Rex (Paul Harris) leaves the party after Johnny Cousin causes friction between the band leader and his wife. Facing east on Clink Street with the since demolished St. Mary Overy's Wharf in the distance.

It all looks very different in daylight. SJ

Delia Lane (Marti Stevens) catches up with her husband. Stoney Street in SE1 with the railway arch carrying the line between London Bridge and Cannon Street stations just visible in the distance.

The arch is just behind the white T-Shirt. SJ

Rex puts an arm around his wife's shoulders as the couple walk away along the river. Christopher Matheson explains that this is the view facing west along Bankside with Southwark Bridge in the distance. The profile and lighting of the bridge are quite distinctive and have survived.

As indeed has St. Paul's. SJ
