Peter sent in a road level shot down Fleet Street with a lot less 'To Let' signs now. The bridge in the background has long gone.

Following a bank robbery, a speeding car corners . . . into Kilburn Park Road from Shirland Road in Maida Vale NW6 which is identified by Barton Bank.

Barton Bank proves the location with this wider shot of the corner which is currently cloaked in mystery due to refurbishment.

Yes, the High Street or Main road, and, whilst taking this photo I had the wing mirror ripped off my motor by a passing driver. The Crown pub is on the right, but I swear I hadn't been inside. (JT)

Diana Davies advises that this is again Bathurst Walk in Iver, although the sequence is cut with shots from Chalfont St Giles.

First identified by Graham Young, Paul Stimpson has also come up with the same spot, Wellesley Avenue in Iver, looking towards the junction with Somerset Way.

Antony Blair's recent shot shows that the bungalow in the centre of the screen capture has now been demolished.

Paul found that the "first turning right" ordered by Sid James was off of Syke Cluan into Bathhurst Walk, Iver, which is in reality a dead end so the cops would have got their men! (RL)

Found by Diana Davies is the Post Office building on the corner of Thorney Lane and Bathurst Walk, Richings Park, Iver, Buckinghamshire, still used by Royal Mail, but no longer as a Post Office.

Malcolm Tinnelly advises that this view is from near The Royal Grammar School in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, looking across towards Totteridge with the junction of Arnison Avenue and Sheraton Drive visible just to the right of dead centre.

Malcolm found that it's not easy to get an accurate shot to replicate the screen capture as the scrubby grass in the foreground was built on in the early 1970s and now obscures the view.

Confirmed by Nick Williams this is looking west at the junction of Lily Hill Road and Lambourn Close in Bracknell, Berkshire.
