The roundabout was removed in 1997 when the area was pedestrianized. The clock was repositioned near to the entrance of the Guildbourne Shopping centre. SD

The building on the corner of Eriswell Road and Rowlands Road was the Golden Key Club, later to become the Carioca, which was demolished in 2001 and replaced by flats. SD
