During darkness, Corbeck (James Villiers) leaves the empty house from which he has been spying on the home of expedition leader Professor Julian Fuchs and his daughter Margaret. Whilst explaining an in-joke featured in this scene, the Frame Rated website divulges the location as Barnet in suburban London.

After being persuaded to help Corbeck resurrect the Egyptian Queen Tera, Margaret turns down Tod Browning (Mark Edwards) when he reminds her that they were going to visit expedition member Geoffrey Dandridge. The corner of Blenheim Road and Ravenscroft Park in Barnet.
Andrew Hutchings couldn't arrange for a classic sports car to be present for this shot.

Following Tod's demise and the deaths of Dandridge and "Snakey" Berrigan as Corbeck begins to collects relics required to revive Tera, Margaret flees from the house after killing Dr. Putnam. Greg Chapman tells us that this is the jetty dating from 1966 on the 'shore' of the former Tank 2 at EMI-MGM studios in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. The tank appeared in 'Lust for a Vampire' as well as many television productions, including episodes of 'The Champions', 'The Saint' and 'The Protectors' to name a few, but was lost when a large portion of the studio was sold for development. The location is now buried under the huge Tesco superstore that occupies that part of the former site.

Corbeck arrives at the home of Helen Dickerson where he discovers Queen Tera has taken over Margaret's body.

Panning round proves that perhaps I should have been standing further north as Phoenix Street is behind the green traffic light left of centre. SJ
