Neil Rigby identified this as Wandsworth Cemetery, London SW18 and provided a Google Earth capture until someone can make a personal visit. (RL) And so I did to replace it and here we can make out the same gravestones but the foreground tree has gone. SJ

What movie based in London wouldn't be complete without a red Telephone Kiosk. Neil Rigby places the location as Tooley Street, London SE1 at the junction with Fair Street looking towards the crossroads with Tower Bridge Street. To the left of the telephone box is the National Westminster Bank and to the right the Tower Bridge Magistrates Court, as was. Neil and I both agree that the box was a prop, the real boxes were on the other side of the road behind the bank. (RL)

Goodness what a lot of clutter but the sign to Bermondsey on the right is in roughly the same place. SJ

First factual clue as to a location, or is it? That curious red Post Office van from the Tower of London parked in Druid Street, London. Having walked Druid Street, London SE1 many times in my life, I am not sure this is the the same street.

Well, in July '17, Neil Rigby proved that it was the same street with a take from Google Earth. However, I initially shared the scepticism as pedestrianisation seems to have muddied the waters (for some of us!) on some maps. Neil and I agree that it was a prop telephone box as the real box placement would not have provided that shot. (RL) And here's a replacement for the GEV. The scaffolding is unfortunate but this does capture the corner of The Two Bridges pub on the extreme left also seen in the original capture. SJ

Harry parks his car and heads to his Jazz Club. Neil Rigby says this is Bourlet Close, London W1, which can also be seen in 'Don't Open Till Christmas'.

Neil Rigby placed this in July '17 as the much revamped "Ten Trinity Square", London EC3 that was also seen in Skyfall, Behemoth and Patriot Games. GEV shot now replaced by SJ.

. . to drive to their Hotel for the night. Neil found that the Hotel is the the University of London's Senate House on Malet Street, London WC1. (RL) The building makes an appearance in ‘Nineteen Eighty-Four’, 'Cheer Boys Cheer', ‘Dunkirk’, ‘Its Not Cricket’ and ‘Their Finest’.

And Peter provides this shot as proof.

The next day, Harry heads out to meet up with a former colleague.

Along the same street, New Cavendish, travelled before. Indeed this was probably shot on the same sunny-ish day as bluic015. SJ

Osgood (Alum Armstrong, who also appears with Michael Caine in 'Get Carter') makes a telephone call to the police, in the days before mobile phones, using a Telephone Kiosk. This is a well used filming location in the Borough Market Area of London, the Globe Public house.

Peter provides this comparison image of the location, now more hemmed in by a new railway bridge.

In pursuit of an assailant, Harry jumps down from the railway and on to a roof, then the roof of the lorry before landing on the ground.

Next morning at a police station. An apparently "easy one" for both Christopher Matheson and Neil Rigby who agree that this is St Georges Town Hall, Shadwell, 236 Cable Street, London E1. Christopher adds that the pub is on the corner of Library Place. RL)

Sam Garcia (Bob Hoskins), former colleague of Harry, seen leaving an ornate building. It just had to be ornate, it is Harrods Depositary, Barnes, London SW13 now converted into flats says Neil. (RL)

This replaces Neil's 2015 Google shot with a more accurate angle, albeit not perfect. The trouble is that the new flats known as Harrod's Village are gated so this is taken by sticking the camera through railings from the tow-path east of Hammersmith Bridge. SJ

...and is ambushed and fight ensues. This location and previous three stills in the movie, were acting as a Training Ground for a security team. Is it a real training ground, a real location or just a movie set?? To answer those questions see bluic035 (RL)

Later that evening, Sam is seen leaving The Bridge Tavern.

The pub is now called The Bridge and Sam would have been leaving what is now The Boathouse dining room, Arundel Terrace, Barnes, London SW13. Google replaced by SJ.

A milkman delivering milk to the house Harry wakes up in after a night of interogation.

Neil Rigby provided a Google capture showing that the house is on the corner of Magdalen Road and Multon Road, London SW18 and indeed his replaced capture showed more detail than this shot. SJ
